You aren't alone after losing a baby. Pregnancy after a loss can be traumatic.

When you’ve suffered a loss, receiving additional physical and mental health support prior to and during subsequent pregnancies can be extremely helpful.

USPAL Network clinics provide customized care for individuals who are pregnant again following a stillbirth, newborn death, or termination for medical reasons.

Many USPAL Network clinics also provide care for parents who have just experienced the death of their baby and are seeking answers, are preparing to become pregnant again, have experienced other types of pregnancy losses, or have experienced placental disorders, preterm birth, or other major pregnancy complications.

Specialized Encouragement Offered Include:

  • Clinicians who provide sensitive care to help deal with grief and trauma
  • Resources for physical and mental health concerns
  • Longer and more frequent appointments
  • Additional heart checks, testing, and preventative treatments
  • Exceptional care, regardless of insurance status
  • Some USPAL Network Clinics also offer peer support led by parents with similar experiences of loss and trauma
